 Here at Room 13, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our 1st fragrance line comprising  Eau de Toilette, Shower Cream, Body Butter and Hand and Nail Cream.

This luxury, line is from the Berkeley Square Natural Couture Company, in collaboration with the V&A and is winner of the highly coveted  ”Best Womens’ Fragrance Prix de Beaute 2011 Switzerland”  AND  ” The UK Beauty Awards” accolades.

 This beautiful, distinctive (and very affordable!) fragrance line  features 3 luxuriously feminine fragrances…White Amber, White Muguet and White Bergamot. This high quality, pure and natural product contains… no parabens, no mineral oils, no artificial colours, no harsh preservatives, no synthetic perfume base and no SLES… Just the finest ingredients and natural essential oils combined with luxurious skin care benefits.

The Eau de Toilette is synthetic ethanol free and created on a natural, pure grain base, containing pure essential oils. (Neroli, Sandalwood and Jasmine).

The rich, decadent and deeply moisturising Body Butter contains a fine blend of Shea Butter, Cocoa butter, Helianthus Anuus seed and Moluccana nut oils.

The shower cream is based on a gentle, cleansing and hydrating formula containing natural essential oils.

The luxury Hand and Nail Cream contains Mangifera Indica Seed Butter, Moluccana and Helianthus Anuus seed oils and is a deeply enriching treatment.

 Prices are £12 – £35.  As for the packaging (inspired by the photographs of John French from the 1950′s & 60′s) well, quite honestly, I’d buy it for that alone!

All these divine products come gift wrapped in matching gift bags  featuring the iconic black and white photographic images from the John French archive held by the Victoria and Albert Museum, to whom Royalties of this collection are covenanted, helping the museum to continue it’s work for the benefit of future generations.

Hello followers and a very happy and healthy new year to you all!

I know we all have a tendency to get a bit fed up at this time of the year…holidays might seem just too far away and the dark nights aren’t starting to lift quite yet, but here at ROOM 13, we’re digging our heels in (quite literally!)  and looking forward! …forward to the imminent arrival of our beautiful, colourful Spring/Summer 2012 collections.

We have stunners on their way from the amazing Chie Mihara,  first time guest appearances from Ipanaema, Emma Go and Vidoretta..and the launch of a very special LIMITED COLLECTION of silk dresses from our favourite Ruby and Ed, which are just to die for (and yes, I will be having one in every colour…I am just MAD for them!) Customers are already fighting over the very limited stock on these dresses and they aren’t even here yet!

So there is plenty to look forward to with a big smile here at ROOM 13.

Our new stock will start arriving from February 1st onwards, but whilst you’re waiting, why not shake off the winter blues by grabbing yourself a  bargain and getting your tootsies into a pair of our fabulous,  designer boots in the sale?!

Hello Everyone and welcome to the Room 13 blog.

We hope to share with all you shoe mad girls out there our mutual passion for heavenly designer footwear. There will be no High St. chat on here ladies, just designer labels all the way! (hey, I know there’s a recession, but come on, we all know that great Italian boots are an investment!)

Just a little bit of history to give you the jist of who we are….

Room 13 is a designer footwear boutique which has been nestled away in Stoneygate (www.stoneygateshops.com) on the outskirts of Leicester for 17 years (that sounds scary when I write it down…thank goodness for botox!)

Over our many years in business here, we have launched and lauded many amazing footwear collections and made hundreds of friends from all around the world along the way…what a privilege!

Our mantra at all times is style, quality and service…to lead the way rather than to follow (and to have alot of fun en route!)

 Customers often ask me how many pairs of shoes I have in my wardrobe…well, obviously this is highly classified information and I would have to in all decency’s sake plead the 5th!

Our big love at the moment is for VIC boots. Made by the amazing Linea Marche factory in Italy, they are unsurpassed for design, quality and value. Always contemporary, yet timeless, edgy but ageless…these babies stand the test of time and will be in your wardrobe for years, becoming old favourites. True quality stands the test of time and you’ll find no throw away one season wonders at ROOM 13.

We have a great selection of VIC boots online at the moment, but sizes are whizzing out of the door at an alarming rate, as they invariably always do with this luxury brand…so get a scoot on if you don’t want to miss out!

Check out the amazing  3/4 height biker boot in mouse nubuck (style 9464) and my favourite foldover boot (style 9614) on the website. (I would tell you to have a drool over our best selling sheepskin boot style 9357, but there wouldn’t be much point as it’s sold out 3 times now and nearly all gone!)

Of course, whilst gorgeous footwear is our raison d’etre, it is not by any means our only addiction here at ROOM 13. We also scour the globe to source the most beautiful handbags, scarves, and jewellery (what was it that Eddy said to Patsy about the word “accessories” ??? …can’t wait for the Christmas special! )
